Luminopolis is a magickal indoor festival organised by our community for our community aiming to inspire, uplift & unite. We were once The Synergy Project – we are now The City of Light.
We hope you enjoyed our last event in November – you may like to see these photos. Our first event of 2009 will be on Friday April 24th at the SeOne in London Bridge. Please join us for what promises to be an amazing and enlightening time.
The room hosts will be Liquid Records in the main room bringing you their unique flavour of psytrance; Binglybongly with a selection of inspirational electronic & live acts; Small World showcasing superb alternative & acoustic performers; and the Inspirational Hall providing debates, films, poetry, and music.
In addition we have a new concept called The Hub which will be the magickal heart of the event – an experimental space with music, performers, visual arts, playful interaction, and oh so much more! Our first Hub will be hosted by Skandalous. We will send you an update when we’ve confirmed the line-ups for all the rooms.
We would like to thank Giani Fabricio of Events4Change for his stellar work at the helm of our production team for the last six events. Giani has stepped down to concentrate on some special new projects, and we know he’ll make a truly great success of them.
We are delighted that Pony of Small World has stepped up to captain our amazing journey. Pony has been an integral team member since the inception of The Synergy Project, regularly hosting the very best in live alternative music with us and at numerous UK festivals.
Together we shall continue to define the cutting-edge of conscious events and counter-culture community celebration.
With light, love, and fulfilling experiences…
The Luminopolis team.
1. 999 It’s Time
Luminopolis fully supports this vital call to action on climate change, and we urge you to do the same. It is being co-managed by Events4Change and will involve some of the very best talent from our community. Expect some spectacular shows and awesome events!
We are in a state of emergency with climate change.
What do we do in an emergency?
In the UK, we dial 999…
999 It’s Time is a new movement that will help transform the dates 09.09.09, 10.10.10 and 11.11.11 into pivotal dates in modern history. In the 9 weeks leading up to 999 Day itself, a series of high-profile multi-media events and widespread media coverage will seek to mobilise a critical mass of the population to take a number of individual and collective actions on 9th September 2009.
To help galvanise mass public support we have enlisted the help of 9 well-known ambassadors: Sam Roddick, Rory Spowers, Bruce Parry, Polly Higgins, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Misty Oldland, Charlotte di Vita MBE, Tamsin Omond, and Zac Goldsmith.
To show your support for the movement, please join this Facebook group, read the website, sign-up for the newsletter, and most of all TAKE ACTION!
If not us, then who? If not now, then when?
